Cubs at Cards - there's a lot of wood to lay to take the probable winner, but Cards have been creating wins. 2 suicide squeezes to win games, great team to have your money on until Ray King comes in. Take the big money line, avoid the run line due to Ray King.

Dodgers at Mets - possible trap game. DJ Houlton kept a game tight on his last start against Clemens & Astros. If Houlton can keep LA in the game, Mets bullpen might back-door screw the square bettors here. Stay away.

Padres at Phillies - Phillies have been putting up the runs of late. Risky laying wood on Tejada when there's not many starts to review. Astacio is a joke. Look closely at the over 10.5 if you have to play this game.

Rockies/Pirates - Rockies are a catastrophe on the road, they are due to lose after winning one last night. Kim has 7.76 ERA on road. Take Pirates, possibly on run line +135. Pirates stink, but they have a nice stadium.

Astros at Nationals - Nationals are the favorite but they have been ice cold. Don't put your money on a mudslide hoping for a turn. Stay away.

Brewers at Reds - i don't like analyzing these blah middle of the road games. 2 teams playing for paychecks. Never bet on these plays.

Braves at Giants - interesting game. Halsey home ERA 3.72, Sosa road ERA 2.53. Braves have much better bats, positive Momo. Braves are a good value at near even money. I'd take it.

Marlins at Giants - the favorite, Marlins, are losing up a storm. Take the giants or pass on this one. There are better teams to back your backroll. Pass.

Mariners at Indians - same as Marlins. Favorite team stinks right now. Take dog or pass. Pass.

Orioles at Devil Rays - interesting that line is near even when one team is in the playoff race & the other is in the cellar. Ponson, go back to High School ball. No wonder it's even money. I'd like to lay money on Kazmir someday, but not whilst he's on the ass rays. Pass.

Sox at Sox - I love betting on the Red Sox, but not with Wade Miller on the mound. El Duque has been spotty but he's a vet that's faced Red Sox in key games in the past. My lean is on the White Sox to win but i can't ever bet against Red Sox bats. See game results Thursday. Pass.

Twins at Detroit - unless you're living in middle america, who cares? Home team should win at least one here, maybe. whatever.

Blue Jays at Royals - another pair of teams playing for paychecks. Why would you put money behind either team ever? There's slot machine picks & there's handicapping. Play teams with a reason to win.

A's at Rangers - why does the man keep making the Athletics a dog? Are they watching this team on the field? Take the A's or pass. I'll pass. Just don't care about the West.

Yanks at Angels - Kevin Brown is a POS. Yanks are awful in LA. But Santana vs. Yanks bats? tough to play against Yanks hot bats. 9.5 total looks low with Kevin Brown on mound. Overs have hit first 2 games already. Love the over.

With that said, i like (lines from thegreek.com 10:30AM EST)
Cards -215
Phillies over 10.5 (-125)
Pirates -1.5 (+135)
Braves -117
over 9.5 Yanks/Angels (-120)

Good luck! JDub :103631605

I like the way you think. Although I only usually have 2-4 plays everyday, today I'm putting most of my chips on Pedro and M.Morris. I can understand where your coming from with the Dodgers and why it would be a pass for you but I guess I'll take my chances, hopefully it won't come back to bite a chunk out of my kiester.

Thanks Z
I'm on the edge of taking the Dodgers +250 with my Man. It's singing like a Too Good to be True play. Mets have been winning Pedro games in blowouts. This is the biggest Pedro line in a while. Smells like a perfect fade, public on Mets 2-1 at wagerline. Dodgers won last night. Houlton, can he hold up?
Ultimately i'm gonna chicken out because Pedro has been brutally nasty in his last few outings.

adding over 8.5 Rockies/Pirates (-110) to my picks.
Both starting pitchers have warts & line is low as if 2 aces were on the mound. Decent value having lower total.
