Any time I play "Chosen" by Arena, I win. Trouble is, the Wife and Kids here it and start calling me a pathetic superstitious dope, (not something you need to hear on a regular basis) Actually I hate the Track, but it does the Business.

Another Bigtime earner is the 4th movement of Mahler's 5th, Sibelius Violin Concerto is a complete winner giver, only you have to play the whole thing at full volume with all the windows open. Ironically, I apologised to my neighbour some time back for the loud music and he said "no problem, anything to stop a losing run".

George Thorogood, The Alman Brothers, or the theme from the TV show MAVERICK usually does the trick for me.

I would have never imagined WinBet talking about the 'Ryche-sters:103631605

I have seen them a handful of times...one of the best voices you will ever hear

1952, seven years over having the War as an excuse for my behavior. On a more serious note, I am a bit alarmed how all the kids are into 60s-80s music, even more alarmed at those who arent, as a Parent you would have to question your kids intelligence if they were listening to dopes like 20 pence(or whatever his name is)

It makes me feel good listening to him after a good or bad night. IT has the songs both WINNERS and LOSERS.
it makes good dinner music at my house when the In-Laws are here too.

LUCKY NUMBERS BY FRANK SINATRA

Song Title

1. Theme From New York, New York
2. Boys' Night Out, The
3. Come Blow Your Horn
4. Pocketful Of Miracles
5. Luck Be A Lady
6. That's Life
7. Pick Yourself Up
8. Pennies From Heaven
9. Here's To The Losers
10. Winners

Originally, Lucky Numbers was only intended for sale in Las Vegas, since the ten songs on the disc are all, in some way, about luck and gambling. Reprise soon realized the kitschy high concept would appeal to the legions of swinging Gen-Xers, and so it was made available throughout the country. Truth be told, Lucky Numbers -- which oddly has the distinction of being the first compilation Reprise released after Sinatra's death (it seems like they could have assembled more useful collections in the wake of his passing) -- isn't much of an album. It's entertaining, to be sure -- how could it not be when it boasts "Theme from New York, New York," "The Boys' Night Out," "Luck Be a Lady," "That's Life," "Pennies from Heaven" and "Here's to the Losers" among the featured tracks -- but it's utterly inconsequential and not at all revelatory. Perhaps it will appeal to casual fans enamored of the Chairman of the Board's masculine swagger, since they'll prefer the image to the music, but any collector will have the best of this material on better collections. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine, All Music Guide
