Now, one of the best teams in baseball goes to play one of the worst teams in baseball.

Just on the surface, does anyone think that the Chi Sox will have 'hang-over' from big series with Boston?

Does this play seem like a simple pick on the Chi Sox and maybe even Chi Sox on the Run Line?

Any thoughts or opinions are WELCOME and SOLICITED!!!

I absolutely think that the Chi Sox win this game. However, I do think there is a possibility of the "hang-over" you mentioned. As a result, I think a straight-up play or a -1 is the smarter bet. Absorbing -1.5 or more is a little dangerous on the first game of the serious, and is probably more called for on game #2 (if the pitching match-ups warrant it). This game and BOS are tomorrow's big plays for me. The mets are a close third.

Uh-Oh, Leritu, you may be in trouble: My favorites for tomorrow? Boston -1.5, Chi Sox and The NY Mets!! Be careful, as nothing is easy in this hard-assed scrabble called life. We may need to be wary here. However, we could just be right as rain and ready to CASH!!

Thanks for your insight. tulsa

Yea, I am really looking hard at these lines for tomorrow. I am deciding on whether or not to play a RL or not on the Mets. It's encouraging you have the same favs. for tomorrow though :).

Chi Sox are 17-3 against the KC Royals in the 2004 and 2005 seasons.

Chi Sox are 9-0 against KC in the 2005 season alone.

Now, don't you think Chi Sox might expect to win tomorrow.

I can't figure out if Lima or Greinke is pitching for KC....? I believe the sports books would have the latest and it looks like it would then be Greinke. Anyone have any definite on that? tulsa

Leritu, I am a little concerned about the NY Mets at Colorado. You might want to look a little more closely at that one. I am taking Boston -1.5 and Chi Sox -1.70 tomorrow. Those are my plays for the day.

I won't place them until later and if anyone has any input for/against.....let's hear it! tulsa

I already bet Garcia vs Greinke so i hope it stays that way. By the way CWS are 46-18 +24 units after a win this year.
GL.
CWS parlayed with Bost & Oak.

sumwon, great stuff and also see schedule to find after big/important series
in June and July, see game one June 6 W over Colorado; see game one June 28 W over Detroit; see game one July 18 W over Detroit. The only game one loss came against Boston on the 21st after the Detroit series. tulsa

I think the sox will win but you may want to go the -1 route from pinny. -170 upfront is alotalota.:103631605

alotalota is true. It is a few dollars more than my limit (-160)

I do believe that the -1 is a great way to go but unfortunately for tomorrow, my money is not at pinny. I know, I am going to get an account there. I also don't trust Chi Sox to -1.5 either even as Leritu said earlier. tulsa

OK, I have a few random thoughts on NYM/Colo and CWS/KC.

I always look at career records of starters visiting Coors. Glavine is 3-1. Acevedo is a fill-in starter, having worked as a reliever all season. He might get through 5 innings, then Colorado brings in their awful middle relief. That's where this team has been getting killed all season. Like the Mets tonight.

I've been keeping my eye on Greinke all season. The kid has great potential. He started off pretty shaky. Pitched a few decent games with poor run support and sat at 1-11. But lately, he shows signs of pitching with confidence, which is a very big deal for a young starter. Garcia has been money on the road all year (7-1, 2.33), so the White Sox deserve to be favored. -170? Pretty steep against a kid that might pitch very well. I lean toward UNDER 9 for small play.

Good Luck to all.

Greinke is 2-0 with an era of 1.6 something since the All-Star break...he finally might be listening to the coaching staff...he has many pitches from many different arm angles...he was throwing his fastball 87-88 mph...throwing his change-up 82-83 mph...not much difference in speeds...location was also up in the strike zone...now he is throwing his fastball in the low to mid 90's and the change-up still in the low 80's...fastball is more effective...hitters are not being able to sit on his change-up...location on his pitches is now down in the strike zone...hope this helps.

Good luck to all

I WATCHED GRIENKE IN CLEVELAND LAST WEEK ! CLEVELAND HAD CHANCES EARLY IN THE FIRST THREE INNINGS THEN GRIENKE CALMED DOWN AND PITCHED A OUSTANDING GAME . I BELEIVE IF THE SOX GET TO HIM EARLY THEY WIN EASILY BUT IF THEY DON'T I LIKE KC IN THIS SPOT ! I HAVENT DECIDED BUT I MIGHT MAKE A SMALL PLAY ON KC HERE !
