Baseball questions on my mind
<HR style="COLOR: #d1d1e1" SIZE=1>1- Will somebody in the NL West step up and take that division away from the very average Padres?

2- Can Washington stay in the NL East race, or will they fade completely out of the playoff picture?

3- Can the Cardinals get healthy enough to win the NL? Do they have the heart to win the World Series?

4- Will Baltmore and Toronto fade in August, and September gives us a classic Boston/New York division battle? Will one of these two team be totally shutout of the playoffs?

5- How much longer can the White Sox keep it up? Can Minnesota get hot enough to challenge them in September?

6- Can Oakland stay hot and catch the Angels? Are the Rangers done?

This reminds me of a sign I once saw in a repair shop. Opinions $1. Dumb looks are still free. I'll give you my opinions for free, but you get what you pay for.

1. No. The very average Padres are the best the sorry NL West has to offer.

2. The Nats. They CAN stay in the race, but I think they will fade. Too much talent in the division and their bats are very suspect.

3. Cardinals look like the fav to win it all to me.

4. I fully expect Boston and the Yanks to battle it out down the stretch.

5. The White Sox make it to the ALCS and lose. My opinion. Twins are toast.

6. Boston, New York, Baltimore all had better get their acts together because there is a very good chance the AL wildcard team will come from the AL West. Love the A's right now. Catching the Angels remains a challenge, but sure, Oakland is capable with their staff. Texas should be the odd team out.
