They get back Straham and have Buress now, and Eli has some expierence behind him. I like this. .A LOT

As a Steelers fan, that 7.5 that the Titans are getting looks juicy. The Steelers have never been fast starters under Cowher. I believe they are under .500 on opening day and it usually takes them a few weeks to get rolling. Even last season, they needed a late field goal for a 3 point home win over the Raiders (then got destoryed the following week in Baltimore). Titans have always played the Steelers tough under Fisher, especially in recent seasons. Titans won at Heinz Field just 2 seasons ago. Titans also suffered through a season full of injuries last year. throw in the uncertainty of the Steelers offense (No Plax, Ben struggling down the stretch last year, having to replace right side of off line) and I think there is value in the Titans getting more than a TD.

It was even a worse line at Detroit PK. Might be the biggest play I have ever had in week 1.I also like AZ but I got + 2 1/2, Seattle + 3, Cincy but a less juice then that -128. Thats where having several shops helps.

I also like Minny but got - 4 1/2

Very early but...........Denver, Giants and Rams to cover and Packers on the money line.

i find it interesting to speculate on where the money will come.

as such, i would be surprised if minn are only favoured by 5.5 v tb come game time.
i already think the line is a little low, plus there's no reason for people to back tampa bay with any enthusiasm coming into this season. i think this will be closer to 7, maybe 6.5.

i agree that detroit and the giants look good bets. surely detroit will be 2.5 or 3 point favourites by kick-off. arizona may still be riding on the off-season buzz that has people talking about them being division winners. but of course, finishing above seattle and st louis doesn't mean you're a very good side.

i'm also tempted by miami at home. don't know if that's a little crazy though.

Arizona, Cincy, Denver, St. Louis

maybe Miami +4. Dolphins a good home team and figure to be better this year. Ronnie Brown is a huge addition to a team with no offense last year. will have to watch the pre-season and get a feel for how good, or not good, Miami will be.

Miami typically is a very fast starter. They dont lose early season home games, Denver typically is overrated.

My thought s exactly -

Oakland and Tennessee look good at +7 1/2, opening week lines shouldn't be that high, especially considering both of those teams were real good at winning games late by FG's and the like.

Detroit only giving 1.5 to the Packers looks very "trappy" to me. I'll probably use them as one of my Hilton plays!

I'm not at all sold on the Cardinals. Hard to believe that the Giants are only laying a point at home to the Cards. They seem to be getting a little bit too much respect this preseason. I'll be on the Giatns in week 1.
