Wells on the road: 4-4 ,5.52 era and 6-4 Over (11 of the 14 homers hes surrendered have come on the road)
AAA Waetcher at home: 2-4 ,6.46 era and 6-2 Over (10 of the 13 homers hes surrendered have come at home)
Dating back from 2002 Wells has simply dominated the Drays going 6-0 in his last 6 and getting 9+ runs of support in all of them (5-1 Over).TB just finished slapping around the O's and I believe can grab a few off of Wells tonight.At home Tampa is batting .302 vs LHP and .321 vs lefties in the L5 (.288 vs LHP overall).Not to mention the Drays just saw Wells last week.Waechter should get hit hard here IMO.Sox generally hit well in domes, with an an avg. of .314 indoors they score on avg 6.7 rpg in these contests.In the last few games the Red Sox havent been too productive but if theres a guy who'll wake up a sleepy offense it Douggie Waetcher.The Sox BP has not been shored up yet and still has an era of 5.23 which is just about the same as the Drays...5.29.With all the Unders yesterday hopefully we'll get a card full of Overs today...well at least this game anyway.
Trend of the day: The Over is 9-2 in Wells/Waecther combined starts this year when playing on Turf.
