One of the smartest baseball players to ever play the game, in my opinion and in the eyes of many, many others. Any staff would still love to have him pitching for their team. Heck of a competitor.

Only needs 2,714 more K's to catch Nolan. But Maddux is one of my all time favs.

Very fitting it came on one of those backup fastballs tailing back over the plate to get a lefty looking. He is incredible throwing that thing.
