Never going to get a clear cut answer since most books are private businesses so there is no need to release numbers. If I were to take a guess i'd say between 2 and 3 million with a sportsbook.

I'll say 2.5 million in the US and 3.5 million elsewhere. 6 mil total. And gorwing annually. Probably be 10 million in a few years. I assume we're including poker, casino and horses too.

Even an estimation in a article would be a complete uneducated guess that would have no merit whatsoever.

really ..

you dont think its possible for a journalist to do some research and contact the books and find out a ballpark figure from them ..

what would the books care if someone knew roughly how many customers thay had .

why would it be a big fuxking secret...

Most books {the smart ones} would probably not care to discuss the number of customers they have. The ones that brag would tend to over estimate. Plus numerous clients play at more than one book. So I think it would be pretty hard to come up with more than a ballpark figure. Even that would be very difficult.

I've worked for 2 books in CR both of them were close to 90,000 customers each probably 60 or 50,000 active accounts and that X the amount of books around CR...How many are those? a couple hundreds? just gotta do the math and you'll get a number... but whatever that # is I bet is a lot more.
