I can't believe what just happened to me tonight!!!! I am still in disbelief!!!

About ten years ago I kill this local book for about 10 grand and he gives me the old I'll have the money for you in a few weeks. Well I have been getting this guy pretty good through the years so I tell him not a problem. A few weeks go by and he gives me 4 dimes and tells me he will have the other 6 in a few more weeks. Well you know the rest of the story, the guy disapears and so does my 6 grand. I check around and find he has stiffed a bunch of guys and he pretty much disapears off the face of the earth. Guys if I'm lying I'm dying. The guy finds me 10 years later and calls me up on the phone tonight and tells me how sorry he is for stiffing me ten years ago and he would like to meet me to PAY ME THE MONEY HE OWES ME!!!!!! I meet him in Buffalo at a bar just a few hours ago and HE PAYS ME ALL IN HUNDREDS, SIX GRAND!!!! He gets up from the bar, tells me again how sorry he was and leaves. I still can't believe this just happened. Later boys I'm headed out for a few cold ones.

I would of told my wife that i received that ${1000} from 10 years ago.And gave her the whole thing....

Then i would have sent $2500 to pinny and $2500 to CRIS.

In my opinion there are many good people who do bad things out of desperation. They don't want to do them but feel they have no choice. Unfortunately many never turn things around to the point where they are able to make amends no matter how badly they wish they could.

This guy probably got in over his head and took off out of fear and not knowing what to do rather then con artist he takes off for the sake of it.

Either that or he stiffed a loose cannon who threatened to kill him. That tends to get people's attention & convince them to right their wrongs.
