Stl (Suppan) -111 at LA Dodgers (Lowe)- Though he is Cards 5th starter, Suppan has been money pitching after a Cardinal loss. Cards have also been very good vs former 04 Red Sox pitchers winning all of those games started by Lowe,Pedro,and Wakefield. With Astros as hot as they are and inconsistency of Dodgers, expect strong effort today from the Birds.
As/Tigers under 8.5 - Both Zito and Robertson have been very good especially Zito. I expect a tight defensive game in this one.
Pittsburgh (Redmond) +135 vs Atlanta (Davies)- I expect a very strong effort by Redmond who has been mentioned in trade talks and would love to leave Pittsburgh. Pirates regardless of record always play hard vs Braves and expect su victory in this one.
NY Mets (Glavine) +158 vs Houston (Pettite)- Astros winning streak has to end sometime and why not today vs Glavine who is 2-0 giving up only 4 runs in 2 starts vs Astros this year. Mets are in need of a victory in this one and they get it.
