I have spoken with Rx. Managment about the BCN Banner in the last 15 minutes. The decision has been made to take down the banner in light of the Oakland A's futures dispute. However actually removing the banner is not something any moderator can do, it requires Tech Support. I have put in a request with Rx. tech Support, but this late in the day I am fairly certain it most likey will not be taken care of until tomorrow.

I do reserve the right to change this action should BCN managment come on this forum and either correct the situation, or somehow make sense of it.

Thank you, Wilheim

What's ironic is I was trying to drum up some business for them. Posted how they had a 25% sign up bonus and great future odds. They took a good thing and totally destroyed it. This is the last thing I wanted. What a disaster.

Best Wishes...oF:howdy:

Good move Wil, come September when the A's fail to make the playoffs bump this thread so ole K1 can have a chuckle.

That's the dumbest part of this whole thing Kiss. It's a prop that still probably doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell of winning.

Regardless, it's pretty obvious that "forum players" are not the market they are looking for anyhow.

Once the integrity of the book is in question it's better for them to advertise in comic books. We won't play there anymore.

TT that is exactly what I said in the other BCN thread. If you post on this forum BCN doesn't want you and probably wouldn't be usefull to you any way.

They are dropping the ball bigtime!
BCN doesn't realize that their actions will cause repercussions beyond what happens here at the RX

Congratulations to The RX management for making the decision to take down BCN's banner now that they have been exposed as a scam book. The word scam means: swindle or fraud. To offer a future bet, accept a wager, adjust the line, and then wait a few days to see which way the bet would go before cancelling the wager is fraudulent. Now Eric from BCN is making it worse by lying in a feeble attempt to cover his actions.

Exactly my thoughts Kiss. Excellent move from rx to move their banner for they have no business being among pinnacle or cris at this or any other site.

I believe that it should be told that BCN was due to come down today (July31) anyhow, since the contract expires today and there is not a renewal. Just want the facts to be known, am not sticking up for the book, but I think it needs to be known that this is FACT

If this is a fact , so be it...

It doesn't change what has taken place....they may have figured (since they decided not to renew) (because they're a recreational book) that it was the lesser of two evils to just refund the bets and part ways with The Rx....Will MW look into helping the players involved here?

A lot of times on these forums issues could look 'one way', and they're not even close to true....so many things get twisted around or mistook, or words taken out of context....

wilheim, if it is true that the BCN ad banner expires tomorrow, then it is bogus for The RX to insinuate that they are coming down because of the A's future bet dispute.

Why though? If this is indeed true (which I really don't know.... the Mods usually don't know when a contract is ending or starting until after the fact) who's to say BCN didn't care because they knew they were leaving anyway?

It goes both ways...

I heard that DSI didnt renew their contract as well as Catalina and my bookie. BCN was also in that mix. Of course my sources are usually not real accurate

Good move taking them down. It's good to see this site doesn't let their advertisers do whatever they want.

The Rx in some ways is taking them down for I will be adding two new books in August and after reading this Frog story BCN will certainly NOT be one of my added books!

Since it appears you`re one of the "big" guys @ MW and "in the know", which side of this do they come down on? If any.
