After the way he has trashed Canseco at the hearings and in print he should receive a lifetime ban for his positive test. How ignorant is he to be still using after his testimony.

as i am enjoying my day off from work, watching the o's game, all they have been talking about since the start of the game is palmeiro. stating he insists he still has never used steroids. its kind of funny too, the announcers are so engrosed in the conversation, through 2 innings, that announcing the game is an afterthought.... its pretty funny!

this jackass just held a press conference stating the substance in his body is a steroid but has no idea how it got there. huh?.........what a shame, another milestone(3,000 hits) tainted by steroids. this guy better come clean or retire. and btw, would be a good idea not to wonder to far from his home, congress is gonna want to talk to him about that little lieing under oath incident. wow!

Most steroids stay in your system up to one year after use. He could of stopped using them a long time ago , and they are still in his system. Thats why rumors circulated about Bonds faking his injury or overexagerating it so he wouldnt have to be tested for steroids.

Being an Orioles fan for a while, this is quite upsetting news. Shocked is the sentiment around this area and watercoolers around. While I still love the guy, I don't feel he should get to the Hall with this mark on his record and nor should anyone.

My guess is Canseco looks more and more right as these cases come out.

Completely irrelevant. Palmiero stated in front of Congress and after his suspension that he has never used steroids. Ever. He's either a liar or too stupid to know what he is putting in his body. In the current climate in baseball, who would be boneheaded enough to take supplements without knowing every single ingredient? Especially when each team has a trainer and a doctor where all he would have to do is ask!

Palmeiro: "I've never intentionally used steroids. Never."

Clinton: "I never had sex with that woman, Ms. Lewinsky."

Flip Wilson: "I don't know who threw the brick, the window was open!"

savannah slim: "I feel a whole lot more like I do now than I did a while ago." :monsters-

No, no. I was replying to the first post that said he was dumb for still taking them after he testified at congress. I was simply saying, he could have testified at congress, and stopped using them and they were still in his system, thats all.

Right, but during that testimony, he pointed his finger and said he had NEVER taken steroids. So even if he had quit, he's still a liar.

Maybe I'm still misunderstanding what you are trying to say. You may have to dumb it down for me.

No matter how much Canseco looked bad in the begining. He knew he was teling the truth. And as the Good Book says the Truth will set you free. Do not be suprised at all of the ones you dont even suspect.
