maybe so - but as WHITE HOT as the A's are right now - NO WAY i "step in front of them" - especially at this price.

i don't care if Eric Gregg is behind the plate - until shown a reason not to do so - i will either be ON the A;s every game - or on the sideline watching

at this price - i will be ON the A's

Oak has won Haren's last FIVE AWAY starts. I just love betting against stuff like that. Problem is Mays sucks. So i'll probably just bet my parlay of the year and lay of everything else.

FWIW, Brian Gorman was behind the plate in the Os game last night and his home ATS was 16-4...16-5 now.

A's as white hot as any team in either league. 12 out of last 13. 6-1 last road trip. 15-5 L20 on road. Won last 12, that is right, 12 starts for Haren. He can be a total bum and they still win his starts. Street this year's Lidge. Recent young River Cats now catching on. Johnson's heads up baserunning won game yesterday. And Swisher is seeing the ball and hitting with power. Welcome to the bigs. Blanton fires a 2 hitter. It is like the River Cats have an eternal spring of talent. Twinkies just falling apart after being the favorites to win division. Can't score, don't win. What are you getting to play them vs. Oakland?

Some interesting angles working tonight....very odd so many contradict>>>>>

Chicago at Philly
total in series has 5 of 6 going under at philly
Padilla over 6-3 in home starts and Philly is over 33-20 at home

LA at Wash
total in series has over 10 of 15 vs washington, 6 of 7 at montreal (so this could be excluded)
Weaver one of the best road under pitchers at 8-2

SD at Pitt
10 of 14 in series has gone over and 5 of 5 at pitt has gone over
Peavy over 6-2 road starts
Wells again one of the best under pitchers at home going under 9-1
(Wells is 5-0 since '97 vs SD)

Atlanta at Cin
Sosa is the best % road pitcher at 6-0 and under is 5-1 but,
Ortiz is 8-2 home and has the best over % going over 10-0 at home and Cincy has the best over % at home going over 38-19 at home

those make it more difficult tonight....that suxs, cuz i have used these angles alot over the past few weeks....especially Ortiz at home mostly as a dog.

Other angles well worth a play
Mil at NY
Mil 7-2 at NY
Over is 13-4 in series and 6-3 at NY
the second best over road pitcher with Ohka is over 7-1 only thing that contradicts taking Mil and the over is that Ohka against NY since '97 has a record of 3-9 and the under of 8-4

KCR at Bos
Hernandez under on the road is 7-1 and Wakefield's under against KCR since "97 is 8-4

NY at Cle
under is 6-0 at Cleveland, but you have "Light 'em Up Leiter" pitching as well. May be a surprise to some Cleveland is an amazing under 30-18-3 at home....so.

just a couple of points to ponder.....good luck

thanks Steeler.....owning my own business enables me to enjoy what I truly love in capping games. Just wish the bankroll was larger to play with. I get a true enjoyment in capping and passing along information that is useful. People ask if I gamble....I tell them that I use to gamble but now I handicap......to me a huge difference. Good luck as some very useful info in the day to day thread that I post for all, you just have to sort out the info and use what you feel more comfortable with.

Nice info you here. Hope you cash, as it seems like you put some work into your capping.

My take on the A's/Twins would be to go the home team and Mays. Mays isn't the greatest pitcher and the Twins are hurting right now, but if you pick your spots on both you could make money. Mays has cashed for me before. However, I don't think there is enough return at +128 to make a move, even though the line seems to be moving up, so I would just wait for another chance to capitalize. Good luck

I will take my shot with the Twins....worth a 2* look for me. There are better games out there no doubt, but why not for me with the homer ump a factor.

Do you step in front of runaway freight trains also? There are so many other games on the card. Why bet against the hottest team, hottest road team and team winning at a 90% clip? Taking a team that, I repeat, can't score. The ump does not bat for the home team. Tried to warn you.

Best Wishes...OF:howdy:
