Lots of details being worked out right now. Seems very complex. But Heat will get Jason Williams, James Posey, and Antoine Walker. Heat sip out Eddie Jones to Memphis, Rasual Butler to New Orleans, and Qyntel Woods goes to the Celtics. Also some scound round picks exchanged. Utah also involved in the trade. Will update as I hear more.

RealGM - The Miami Heat , Memphis Grizzlies and Boston Celtics have reached a tentative agreement on a three-team trade according to an NBA source close to the negotiations who spoke with DraftExpress.com’s Jonathan Givony.

The Miami Heat will receive Antoine Walker via a sign-and-trade from Boston, as well as Jason Williams and James Posey from the Grizzlies.

The Grizzlies will receive Eddie Jones from Miami and Marcus Banks from Boston.

The Celtics will receive Earl Watson via a sign-and-trade from Memphis, as well as Dorrell Wright or Miami’s trade exception.

Watson’s inclusion in the trade is a new twist to the deal, satisfying their need for a starting point guard. He will reportedly receive the mid level exception.

Deal has officially been announced. Still not sure if it is such a steal for the Heat. The Heat do get 3 quality players in exchange for Eddie Jones and Rasual Butler. Woods never played for Miami, so I do not factor him in much. The Heat will lose their best perimeter defender, as Eddie was huge last season defending the other teams best perimeter scorer. He shut down Vince in the first round and did a great job against the Wiz in the second round. So the Heat lose their best defender and also an above average 3 point shooter. If the Heat do not resign Damon Jones, which is likely now that J Will is here, the Heat will lose all three of their 3 point shooters from last season. Eddie, Damon, and Rasual all gone. J Will and Antoine not good defenders. Not high % 3 point shooters. Still do not know how this will work out. On paper, it sounds great for the Heat. Personally I think Antoine should come off the bench and work with the second team. Posey maybe starts at the 3 spot. Very interesting moves by Miami.
