NCAA of course.

In NCAA you can lay chalk and win so its easier to just be a square and not worry.

In the NFL, I have only won when I played dogs exclusively (except weeks 9 through 13 last year, of course)

NCAA......Too much of a crapshoot in the NFL the way the players move around....the only loyalty in the NFL is to the paycheck.

Unless you are dedicated to following one of the two, I don't see how you can answer the question before the season ever starts. That is, if you are serious about betting and making money.

NFL defiantely (my strongest suit)

NCAA "spot plays" for me this season. Will try to nail the early "soft lines", though

Everybody has their own expertise/interest

but, in general, all things being equal, NCAA football certainly ranks an easier game to handicap than the NFL IMHO.

Why?

There are so many more variables in the college game to be considered and, therefore, more areas for the astute handicapper to find edges, including: talent disparity; scheduling; emotion; travel; etc.

In the NFL, the teams are relatively close in terms of pure athletic talent and coaching that it becomes more difficult for the handicapper to find edges in their analysis.

Evidence: The run-and-shoot and similar gimmick offenses will work for periods of time in the college game until the coaches "catch up" to ti. Do not try it in the NFL, however, because defenses are largely comprised of talented professionals whose "technique" is not easily compromised.

"Tricks are for kids." Or in this case, the college game.

NCAA Higher $$ and fewer bets.

Going to try and focus in on my top 3-4 games per week. Possibly only 1 or 2 based on the week.

NFL - 2-3 games with normal $

NCAA - Way more games. Many more variables in the games than can be exploited. Much more room for line mistakes in the college game than in the center of the universe NFL. Now if it would just get here already.

College football by far! I play 10 times on college what I play on pros. The pro players don't really care. Sports books give you a big hint on which one is the hardest to beat. The pro limits are way MORE than the college limits. There is a reason that books will take more on pros than college. When I play the colleges, I KNOW that I will win. When I play the pros, I HOPE i will win. Do not play the other mans game, play your game. LT
