I was playing in a $30 sit n go tonight. I ended up losing my flush to the full house and getting knocked out. I decided I had enough for the night so I click the x on the corner of the application to close it out. As it closes I get this pop-up, "Why stop now, play some blackjack" All I had to do was click the screen and BAM. . I am in the casino. So I played for awhile and I won $12,000.

OK, I actually lost $3, but it would have been cool to win 12,000!

Anyways, the moral of this whole story is damn. . . Can't they just leave us alone? LOL

Kruser you must be doing very well in baseball.

Where did you draw that conclusion from. I am doing very good in poker, fair in baseball.

By the way, much better avatar then the one you had earlier.

He's right

I played there tonight, I was in the 7500 garauntee. I was the chips leader when the field was down to 80 or so, I was so pumped. I was like oh ya man, I'm gunna crack the final table, I'm gunna win this thing and knock 2 dimes. Good spending money for Vegas.

But a couple of tough hands and I busted out and walked away with just 40 something bucks.

I was down on myself, I was like why do I bother I am horrible at this. lol. so I log out and it says "Why stop now, play some blackjack" . I was like, WTF man. I've suffered enough of an ordeal, it was funny to me. Luckily I resisted.

lol I felt the same way last night. I played in a 81 person tourney. Ended up taking 3rd place, but 1st place was $500 and I was chip leader almost the whole time. By the end of the thing taking 3rd place after 3 hours of play just wasnt good enough!

Kruser6, this thread reminds me of something I learned the hard way about gambling a long time ago....there is NEVER a time when it feels good to leave the casino.

If you're up, you say to yourself, "Why would I leave now in the middle of a winning streak?"

If you're down, you say to yourself, "I can't leave now, I have to at least get back to even."

If you're even, you say to yourself, "I can't quit now, I'm even, I might as well have not even come in here if I have the same $$ I came in with."

I must have an addictive personality, because I still find myself falling into the same logic traps today. Probably the worst thing for me is that I only go to the casinos once every month or so, so when I get there, I want to keep playing just for the fun of it when I SHOULD get up and walk out. But I am a recreational gambler, and it's all for fun anyway.

Keep up the good work in Hold `em. You'll eventually get the cards for that big night you've been waiting for.....as long as you're not going broke trying to do it!
