We saw what happened at MW. The Major finally pulled the BCN banner but not before he put a lot of effort into distorting the picture despite every respected poster saying the bets should stand. He made himself look very bad IMO.
EOG debuts soon but is run by someone many don't trust in the least. The Shrink's resume includes endorsements for how many belly-up books? He takes with him Panda the Hypocritical, who lashed out at Roxygirl for the very same thing she and the Shrink were doing behind the scenes. It's too bad the General is caught up in it. He seems like a genuinely good guy.
I check out OGD periodically, but they seem more interested in bashing the Rx than anything else (though some of their criticism does indeed have merit).
Madjack's is a nice site, but there isn't a lot of industry news/knowledge over there. It reminds me more of a friendly sports bar. Nothing wrong with that -- just sort of a different niche.
The Rx moderators are in a really bad spot here. Off the record, I'm sure we know what they think of BOS. But they just can't publicize it...and keep their jobs. The owner? Why should he care? It's a business. He sees dollar signs. The Rx has lost a huge amount of credibility here, but it won't change anything. People will still flock here. Football will start. The BOS threads will fade. All will be forgotten.
It's kind of a sad state of affairs when the watchdog sites need a watchdog...
