Fish, do you also see plenty of quicksand in the non-con big 10 schedule?

Rutgers/Ill, Rutgers 10-2-1 L 13 OTR vs non-conf. Tm will cover as a dog here, may win SU. Love BG vs Wisc. W 6-15 ATS L 21 non-conf. Jacobs is a great Col. QB. Less than 30 days to go. Hell Tulsa will probably give my Goofers a tuff gm.

I was going to add those EXACT four and deleted them at the last moment.

Yes, I love this PURDUE team this year.

I think they have a legit shot at winning the BIG TEN!

They dont play MICHIGAN/OHIO ST and get IOWA at home.

VERY favorable schedule.

To bad they have a coach that losses close games right and left on a routine basis.............exactly what could happen on the road AT ARIZONA.

Purdue will lose to PSU or Wisconsin this year. They play at Wisconsin on 10/22 and at PSU 10/29. I could also see them in close games at Arizona and Minnesota.

1 loss will still be good enough for a tie in big 10 but the BCS will probably take another 1 loss team due to Purdue's schedule.

Fish,

I believe if Purdue gets past Minny Sept 24, they will win the big ten and could be in the national championship game.

This team was rolling last year until the Kyle Orton Heisman hoopla and him going into politics later in life began to overshadow the team.

Then they lost at home to Wiscy BY 3 after some turnovers and dumped the next 3 games. ALL BY 3 POINTS OR LESS!

This year I doubt Tiller or the team will allow hype to overshadow the team.

Also, Tiller and Purdue will be one of the select few big ten teams I will lay as heavy favorites for Tiller has proved to be like Spurrier when he was in Gainesville.

Keep this in mind...........they have 18 starters back from a team that was a total of 14 points of going UNDEFEATED last year!!

ps--Joe Tiller is 10-3 ATS the past 2 seasons as a home favorite, supporting your theory in your last paragraph.

Overall, 40-26 ATS in the favorite role in 8 years at PURDUE!
