For Wednesday take the Braves in Cincinnati.
The Reds are just not the same team against lefties and you will see another indication of that today against Horacio Ramirez. The southpaws seem to just neutralize Griffey, Dunn and Casey among others and Ramirez is not just an average lefty.
Brandon Claussen is not bad at all and could pitch a good game but the Braves are just on fire and will get some hits and put up some crooked numbers. Atlanta has been great for the last six weeks and this Cincinnati team is just mush right now. The Reds do have a ton of talent but as usual they are underachieving and just not very good right now. They may have just won a series in LA and swept the Padres in San Diego but so what. Both the Dodgers and the Padres are awful right now and that is not a litmus test at all for me. Plus the Reds beat up on average righties for the most part.
Atlanta is playing great and I just do not see them slipping up in this spot.<o></o>
