minumum edge required to play a future?

This time of year every Tim, Doug, and Henry will be talking about their football futures bets. Personally, I'm not going to tie my money up for 5/6 months for a miniscule edge. I'm going to get a better return on it playing through in that time frame.

I've my own ideas on this and its math, but I'm interested in hearing the opinions of some others. :toast:

For me it works well as i make 6-7 wagers on season wins for about 1500 each(usually bet 300-500 a game). It helps as i lack self control.This way i always windup with action on sunday for the whole season and don't have to worry about chasing losses as its tied up. Plus i get an excuse to go back to vegas in January (i never play futures offshore). May not work for others but it works for me.:103631605
