LA Angels -136 over Balt
Lackey/Bedard
The sharks are circling as Balt has lost something like 13 out of their last 14. Palmiero is out of the lineup. The reason this is at -136 is because of Bedard's record. However, the Birds have lost the last 2 games he has started, partly due to their horrible bullpen.

All hope has left the Big A in Anaheim for the O's as the Halos hope to distance themselves from the red-hot A's who are breathing down their neck. This will be a good chance for them to do this. I was thinking of betting the -1 1/2 RL at +159 but have decided to hold off.

There's also some value in betting the Angels on Thursday as the line is currently at -147 for Santana (LAA) vs. Lopez (Bal).

I kick myself for not taking the -1 1/2 RL. The Angels started out slowly but came on strong.

I'm picking the Angels again for Thursday's game. I'll have a separate write-up for that game.
