NO site is immune from it, but you can certainly take precautions.

It means that the hands are analyzed, suspicious behavior is checked for abnormal patterns etc.

They do have pretty good practices in doylesroom in particular, for both collusion/chip dumping/credit card fraud

That's good because it means that the site is solid, should there not be such checks then its like a sportsbook offering wild bonuses. In a smaller site (say not like partypoker.......) you have a better chance of getting management attention (imho)

NOT ONLY is it common, but it happens in every game. Sometimes, you can actually use it to your advantage though. If you have folded to almost evey raise then slow play a few hands and you will get 2 or 3 callers when you have the nuts and they will call it all the way down since it wasnt you who was doing the raising

I'm done with online poker. It's such a joke. What people stay in with and pull is amazing.

Guy has Q,2, has no hookup after the flop, 4 people in the hand and the guy pulls three Queens????

Such BS.

I have said this before, but I will say a few things again.

I do pretty well playing online poker. I have won some big tournaments paying well over $50,000 to me in the past 2 years. Having said that, in live action, I see the collusion and bull shit flops and callers all day long. Ask yourself an honest question. How many players do you know that are actually winning money playing online poker?? I would suspect that the % is VERY low! I would estimate that only around 15% of players are up for a period longer than 6 months. Now yes I am up very big longterm, but actually having a bad run in the last 30 days!

Overall, I do about 500% better in live tournaments than i can do online. I do about 5000% better in live ring games than online ring games! That should tell you something.
Do yourself a favor, if you have a local pokeroom, just play live poker and FVVCK this online shit! Online poker has the potential of being one of the biggest scams in the history of the US! People are losing money left and right and we sending all of our money offshore! Just play live poker and you will see a MUCHHHH better return on your investment. I know that i have slowed my online play about 80% over 6 months ago, but then again, I play in live tournaments about 3-5 nights a week, so I dont much time for online poker anymore

Well if there is collusion there I have not been at a table when it has happend as I am killing them in the Low NL blind area on almost a nightly basis ...It is like taking candy from a baby in the .25/.50 blinds NL

Just play solid....most of the guys there I noticed like to call with nothing and try to draw out on you

With Mike Caro being involved with Doylesroom, you can be sure he wil;l develope or has developed software to detect cheating.

Fat Tony....that shit happens all the time in poker whether it be live or online. I've played enough of both over the years to have seen it all. You can only grin and bear it, knowing that in the long run you are getting back your money when they continue to play hands like that.

playersonly69....Since you've been around, you know that 10% of the players win 90% of the money in poker. Really doesn't matter where it's played. A player with any kind of experience should be able to spot collusion. You can either try and take advantage of it or move to another table. Playing online has it's advantages especially for people that can't get out of their homes and play in a B+M poker room. There are handicapped people out there that probably thank the day that internet poker was thought of . Now they can just turn on their computer to get a few hours of enjoyment instead of having to go through the whole rigamarole to get out of the house and get to a card room.

But this guy was trying to steam roll the table and pulled out amazing hands AFTER the flop. I could see where he was getting lucky winning with a pair every once in a while, but this guy was staying in and pulling inside straights like there was no tomorrow.

Online poker is nuts.

I think I am done with online poker and will stick to live games. Online poker is to accessable and always has me thinking int he back of my mind am I beign scammed through the software or collusion.

But the main thing is that it is so accessable. Since, I have opened an account I went from playing 1-2 times a week to 7 days a week. This the most I have ever played in the last 3-4 years and for the first time I can say I am sick of the game.
