Overlooked areas for SCALPING?

List what you believe are some areas that bettors overlook when looking for scalps.

For example,....

Baseball RUN LINES

This is a great place to find yourself some weak numbers, as shops will tend to ignore these odds, even when the odds on the game itself are moving rapidly. Even though the problem exists where one is usually working with a minumum 20 cent line, value can be found.

Year long props in MLB and football

Although you may have to tie your money up for more than you would like, this is a terriffic area to snatch up some goodies! :103631605

Who offers horse racing matchups? Agree on run lines, I refuse to tie my money up in season-long arms as I can get a better ROI using it.

Pinnacle has horse match-ups every day!

Personally, I only try scalping the Breeders Cup and the Triple Crown races.

Nascar/auto racing matchups (usually only on Nascar and best on the less popular events)... my favorite occasion on Sundays... can't turn down the free money.

Also tennis matches can be gold mines between Pinny and a book that doesn't charge out the a$$ juice on these matches

And my other personal favorite... some ridiculous chances to middle NCAAB when Joe Public has Team A at -7.5 while Pinnacle, the pro's book, has -5.5 and likely the sharper line.

how do you scalp if there is only one shop that offers them?

are you saying potential scalp, just try to handicap a side and hope your goo dnumber gets bet up later and scalp back later? That is risky in horse matchups.

TTT--As mentioned, I only do this on the BIG FOUR racing events.

I am not a horse racing guy, but I am sure others besides PINNY books match-ups on a regular basis.

AFL care to share a good tennis book that might be off the pinny number often? 5 dimes I dont see it often, others have such high vig its never going to happen.

SIA, Olympic, Canbet, Millenium... had scalp shots at all of them... even Bet365 at times. A lot of it isn't in the juice and high vig, it's in the fact that Pinny updates their lines due to real action on the games, while these other books sometimes slack at updating lines, particularly in the middle of the night in some of these tournaments where matches start at 2:00 AM EST or something like that. Staying up late at night can be very profitable very quickly.

Second half fb lines. Many books don't adjust them or for that matter 1st half bets when game lines are moving. Great value and easy wins!

Do SIA pay? I always heard iffy things about them.

I take it Millenium don't enforce the BOS Group 50/50 rule?

Never had problems with SIA in terms of payouts... customer service on the other hand.... that's a different story. I also play with a lot less money than most, so they'd have no problems with me. Haven't had money in Millenium in awhile now, but back when I did, scalp chances weren't many, but they were there if you searched, particularly tennis overnighters and boxing.

The more obscure the more scalps but I have proceeded to the point where I can usually tell which side has the value and then just roll with it and over time it easily exceeds the scalp value.

Millenium has the 50% props and 50% regular lines rule, and if you bet alot of tennis you're likely to get booted as I did.

ABCIslands and Carib often have scalps available against Pinny, but the rules in case of player retirement are different and you can get burned. I lost 3K in a scalp between ABC/Pinny because the favorite quit and I had the dog at Pinny.

I occasionally play the different rules. It's usually with a big fav, so I make sure the big bet is with the most stringtent rules, so worst case is big push, small loss..
