Detroit could have had a big 1st inning - bases loaded, nobody out, only get one run. Hernandez threw 25 pitches in the inning.

You have to like Roberto Petagine for Boston. Carasco walks two guys in a row, then goes 2-0 to Petagine meaning 8 straight balls thrown. He swings at the next pitch and hits into a double play. Ther's no I in team but there is one in Petagine. What's wrong with making him throw a strike.

a nice start so far for those with the OVER in SD/Pitt and NYM/Milw as well as those with Phils

can we get just ONE MORE run in sd/pitt, please - although 7 more Pit runs would be ideal

hopefully - NONE - but ya never know. this would be a tough "beat" if they finished 7-1 and while i know it would be a PUSH - to have O8 and have it 7-1 after T3 and then see it end that way - this would be a a case of a push being a loss - in a sense. i think we will get there - and hopefully w/o too much more worry.

i need ONE MORE Brewskies run to get my O8 play in now that it is 4-3 Mets
