bet ON the team firing its manager in its first game when the new guy takes over for the rest of the season - as is the case here

If anything take the over...just because Mazzilli got fired doesn't mean Lopez is going to throw a good game against a team that has been swinging the lumber of late.

i don't - sure someone here does - but i know it is a winning play

what usually happens is this "wakes up" the team from their funk and the guys now all want to go out and play hard to show what they are truly capable of so that the next move isn't cutting them. this is as solid a "situational" play as they come and if you ONLY bet these kinds of plays i am very sure you'd make a nice profit!

may be wrong here - but it is worth a shot

Agree with edub here. Still on the Angels and im going to play against Balt untill they proove me wrong.

I understand you thinking winky but there is just to much going on in Baltimore right now and it's just not worth putting money on that team as off yet.

was going to play anaheim large but the firing of mazilli makes it a no play for me

Winky is right - the players want to prove that THEY aren't the reason the manager is fired - because there is a considerable amount of guilt associated with your manager being fired.

CRIMINALLY easy

once again the BEST play in sports comes thru with another EASY winner

just bet ON a team the first game after the head coach/manager/whatever has been fired and the guy coming in is the replacement the rest of the season and you will be one rich dude (IF the guy replacing the old coach is only keeping the seat warm for someone to take over in a day or two - wait - until the permanent guy takes over to make the play)
