1.8. Should funds be credited to a client's account in error, it is the customer's responsibility to notify BoS Gaming of the error without delay. Any winnings subsequent to the error and prior to the notification of BoS Gaming, whether related to the error or not, shall be considered invalid and returned to BoS Gaming.

1.9. Wagers taken on an incorrect/mistaken line due to human and/or computer error will be deemed no action. In the event that this occurs, BoS Gaming reserves the right to either void any affected bets (wagers) or to correct the error and settle the affected bets at the correct line.

Under rule 1.8 I could place two bets on European tennis and go to bed. In the morning I could find that match one lost but I was credited winnings. This was then corrected and my winnings on match 2 voided since I had not informed them of the error.

Under rule 1.9 a bad line is not no action but can be corrected to the book's advantage by either voiding or correcting the line.

I am pointing this out since the Rx has initiated communications regarding their unfair rule 1.11, the most egregious, where BOS can declare you a professional gambler and then hold (steal) the balance of your account.

Some good points. Rule 1.8 is way out of line. Not every player regularly verifies their balance. If money was credited to a client's account by mistake, the only time a winning bet should be cancelled is if the player would not have had the funds to make the bet without the mistaken credit. As for 1.9, they should have stopped after the first sentence.

How do books get away with this nonsense?

And why is the Rx willing to severely damage their rep by dealing with a book like this?

Thanks. Its not a question of even daily verification of balances but checking after every play.

Can't think of any other business in any field that says we make a mistake and you pay for it.

Most "bad rules" I have seen at books, are designed to cover their own laziness or ineptitude.
