I went 2-1 last night with winners with Philly and Cinci and loser with Arizona. I have a Thursday 5 pack for everone tonight!
Texas -1.5 +145 (Benoit) vs Tampa Bay (Fossum)- I feel Rangers are ripe to break out tonight vs Fossum and Tampa Bay. Law of averages with TB on winning streak and Texas on losing streak. I like those rh batters of Rangers in Mench,Soriano,Young,Texiera to break out big in this one.
Cleveland -102 (Millwood) vs Yankees (Chacon)- Talk about misleading which is exactly what Millwood's record is as he is 4th in era despite poor record. Chacon has been horrible though he had decent 1st outing with Yanks. Cleveland will be looking to overtake Yanks in wildcard race tonight and feel like they will get it done with Millwood leading the way.
Arizona -120 (Halsey) vs Houston (Rodriguez)- Too young pitchers but really feel Arizona will win this one and avoid the sweep. Lost on Arizona last night but will double up on this one as Houston is due for a road loss.
Anaheim -1.5 +140 (Santana) vs Baltimore (Lopez)- This is a bet as much against Baltimore as it is for Anaheim. Orioles are on a long losing streak which they have been non competitive. In first 2 games of this series, Orioles have played two poor games. Anaheim needs to keep winning to keep up with A's and will with interim mgr for Orioles. Another blowout win for Angels.
Cincinnati -123 (Harang) vs Braves (Davies)- This is a trend bet for Reds who seem to get blown out in 1st game of home series but follow that up with wins in games 2 and 3. Harang has been Reds best pitcher while Reds bats have been hot and should feast on the young Davies. Braves caught looking ahead to series in STL this weekend as well as very average road team.
