Americans didn't flock to Canada after Bush win

Canadians can put away those extra welcome mats -- it seems Americans unhappy about the result of last November's presidential election have decided to stay at home after all.

In the days after President Bush won a second term, the number of U.S. citizens visiting Canada's main immigration Web site shot up sixfold, prompting speculation that unhappy Democrats would flock north.

But official statistics show the number of Americans actually applying to live permanently in Canada fell in the six months after the election.

A couple of thousand raggety assed wide eyed Islamic whackos with kalashnikovs have got you girls invading entire countries, spending hundreds of billions of dollars(should be trillions soon), got the continental USA on permanent red alert and now you're jabbering about nukes.

If you had put the same resources into Africa you could have relieved a huge chunk of world poverty.

Meanwhile the rest of the world sits back and watches you crazy Americans on TV as you try to hit swarthy dudes scampering about in sandals with laser guided thousand pounders and various other billion dollar bits of kit.

You couldn't make this stuff up, they'd say you were delusional

The military can march across the whole middle east from one end to the other, then they'll have to start over again.....

....won't make eek or anyone else safer....Ask England and Eqypt about "fighting them there so we don't have to fight them here"....

"Final victory"???? That's a good one, considering how many Muslim countries are on the globe and how many reruns of an Iraq/Syria/Pakistan/Iran/Afghan invasion are going to play out over and over again in the great game of whack-a-mole......
