It seems after about 10 minutes online, I'll get kicked off. Computer will say no local area connection and often my modem lights will not be flashing as usual. Is it time to get a new modem? I'm not very computer savvy.

You probably just need to reset your modem, its usually a small button in the back that can be reached with a toothpick or something else small. You should unplug the LAN cable that goes to your computer and the cable that goes into the modem prior to resetting. Reattach all of the connections after you reset and it should be back to normal.

Usually if I jiggle the wires a little, then it works again. But it doesn't consistently stay on like it used to.
