One going on now @ "Covers", re. a guy posting pix and someone slamming the pix for losing. My question here is: Is it EVER kosher to question another posters gaming pix? One of the things being mentioned over there is, the seniority of the original guy vs the relative "newbie" status of the one posing the question. Just thought I`d throw it out to see what everyone thinks. I`m betting it`ll be about 98% one way.
I think its very rare for a poster to be hounded because of his views, more likely an ulterior motive. The usual bone of contention is whether the spread or vig was available at the time of posting, and dont even go into posters using benevolent Locals for their prices. The other bugbear is the poster who obviously isnt betting what he claims or using fastasy figures. All of this would be harmless but for the fact a Tout or scammer could be waiting in the wings, so others feel that there short-comings should be exposed.
I always form my own opinion on which side of a game I will be on. It's nice to read the forums and the different picks but I pick my own games. The best only hit between 52%-60% winners and anyone telling you they hit more then that is probably full of shit. No one should ever get bashed for posting a losing play.

That`s the sort of reply I was looking for "an opinion" on the question, i.e. is bashing because he picked the wrong side/total for whatever reason justified? And yes there IS a lot of 2nd guessing and it will get more so during foots I think.
