most books do (or at least should) allow this
only thing most won't allow is a parlay with total and RUNLINE - for they can argue those are somewhat correlated - and they have somewhat of a point here
Pinny definetly dis-allowed dog/ over parlays before, only book I know of that did. Few allow RL/ total ( WW and SIA do).
A poster ( Cutter) at Fezzik's argues the RL/ total is bad usually and ML/ total is better, I tend to agree with him. He likes what he calls odd and a half numbers ( like 7.5, 9.5), road dog and over odd and a half, home dog and under odd and a half ( esp. 9.5). Books with 20-cent RL shouldn't worry about the parlay, that overcomes any correlation most of the time.
I like the ML and total if both are dimelines.
