i had a 200$ bet on san diego game today and when the game was over, i noticed that they didnt pay me. checked to see if i made a mistake and both pitchers that were listed indeed started the game.

i called them and explained the situatuion, they put me on hold for about 10 minutes and said the money is now in my account. i asked why the error occured and they told me it happens sometimes and is up to me to check my account for errors.

i know alot of ppl use pinny on this site, as i do myself, mainly to take advantage of the -1 line. i also know a populat second choice is 5 dimes.com

this is not really a bashing but i didnt like the answer, " ..you are responsible for your own money..." in my opinon this is poor customer service, also i know for a fact that if you lose they are 100% correct in taking your money.

be careful people....check your accounts.

It is called the weekend Help.......Take notes on the situation, if it continues call and report the siutation to Tony. He will listen to reason, and make adjustments in house.


Errors do happen on occasion, but I AGREE with proper process must be in place at all times. Sometimes the weekenders are a bit loose with precise process NEWPORT

It has happened to me a few times before w/ 5dimes. Since I do alot of prop bets and parlays it seems to happen on those bets more often. I think they hand grade all their wagers....dont know for sure.
For it to happen on straight wagers is odd...
Not bashing...although their phone wagering lags sometimes and they make you feel likes its a problem placing wagers over the phone....but their CS is fine...JMO

I had the Padres -2.5 and it was graded correctly over at 5Dimes

I've looked into the grading of this game. I see nothing reprocessed or out of the ordinary. Please contact 5Dimes customer support with the exact details of the problem you had with the grading. I will look into it.

Agree, incorrected grading is quite odd especially against player.
I haven't had any problem in grading even with small books.

The only problem got so far with one of small books was it claiming that it has posted an incorrected line which I took advantage of & hence canceled my wager. This book stated that if a line is out of ordinary then it can cancel. I thought this rule is fishy since many books, especially small ones, want some action on their own in certain game.

We're at their mercy?!

they misgraded a H/R/E play of mine from friday night.

i got someone on the live chat and it was fixed in 2 minutes.

mistakes can happen . i always check . figure its the least i can do.

Hey BIG, it happens at pinny too. A week back, I had my Bravos to win the series with the Pirates and the Braves won the first two games and it was graded a loss?! A quick e-mail and it was taken care of..I guess it happens to all of 'em.

But yeah, you got to watch dem summbitches, uh-huh.

i just want to clarify...this thread is not a slander on 5 dimes, it is merely a warning to players that use betting sites to check all their bets...i will continue to use both 5 dimes and pinny, but be responsible in checking my graded plays...i recommend YOU do the same.

Again, I ask for the details regarding your problems with the grading of this game. The game in question was never reprocessed with any changed pitchers or scores. No other customers have had any other issues regarding the grading of this game. Furthermore, we checked all calls within three hours of your post. We show no record of anyone calling with any issue regarding this game. Please contact us to straighten this out.

5 DIMES...I think You all ready fixed the problem, at least that's what I think it say's...I think he was telling everyone to just check the grading at all sportsbooks....By the way I just signed up with you guys and really like all your props...G.

Thank you for coming aboard. We take all grading issues very seriously. All grading errors are extensively checked. In this case, we need more information to determine exactly what happened. On our end, we show no mistake of grading on this game. We just need to know what we're missing.

the issue was resolved yesterday, i wish to remain annonymous. thank you for your continuing concern. as i stated before i am still active on your site and even have plays in for today. as long as the episode yesterday remains isolated i will remain as a customer. this thread is merely to advise bettors, at your site or any other, to be cautious when it comes to checking graded wagers.

It happened to me as well tonight.....it is one thing to grade a game that is over improperly, but grading plays as losers that are not even over with yet


NOT GOOD!!! I made my call..........Check your bets at this time until this group gets more experience

i think i am going to pull out of this site, a friend of mine had it happen to him on suday as well. he bet to win 45.00$ on texas/baltimore game. it was ruled no action but both pitchers started, he called and the money was immediately credited to his account. the only reason he called though was because i told him what happened to me. everyone beware. with all due respect to TONY, i am sure he is a great guy but from all the replys in this thread id rather bet elsewhere.

5 dimes really needs to get there act together. They are so close to becoming a premier book especially since they are going to the -105 juice for football this season.but A+ books dont do things like this. Im 100% sure it was unintentianal but its still not exceptable at all for a top notch book. I have had things like that happen to me too at 5 DIMES. I will not leave them out totally, but these things cant happen.

I agree I am happy with their customer service. Rommel is the Class of ACTS, and Tony does run a tight ship, accounting is perfect, and deposits are not an issue as are withdrawals, but when gambling you must have confidence in grading. IT IS RULE 1

I know that it is some over zealous evening/weekend help......how do you say

WHEN that CAT is away the MICE will play, I am NOT trying to be a know it all on this, but trust me, I communicate enough to read into the difference between some of their employees versus others. I mean this JANE that answered the phone tonight....WOW.....I could not tell if she had a pulse, and Rachel on the weekends......the one with the RASPY voice.....You better call in 20 minutes before game time with her

Anyways....They are doing things overall correctly, it is the IMAGE that they need to polish up, along with sound BUSINESS PROCESS

#1 you should always check you wagers.

#2 5dimes is a classy book and even came here twice to try and fix the error.

Well GD you might have a personal interest in the matter and that is fine.

I agree all wagers should be chcked by a gambler, but DOING things right the first time, and having a low percentage of errors is also important as well. And the fact that they came here to resolve their problems on a public forum is

ONLY GOOD BUSINESS.......SO NOT TOO MUCH CREDIT GIVEN FOR DOING WHAT IS GOOD BUSINESS FOR THEIR FIRM!!!

I think they are a great book, but this is the place to share the issues, and we do!!

Sometimes I feel like I seem to bother them when I am placing a bet since I do alot of parlays w/ just a $25.00 bet. One guy seems to get frusturated when I ask him multiple lines...like I should know what they are before I call. Lucy in CS is the best and so are a couple of the wager takers:103631605


Like I said before it has happened to me a couple of times....and these were times I noticed. But I dont have time to check all the wagers I do...I mean I run my own biz and working 9-7pm 6 days a week..its hard. I think they hanf grade all their wagers and if they do ut must be hell


FYI:
I love the book itself and the options are by far the best of any that I have used and will continue to use them. :toast:
