Despite losing Sunday, the Twins had to have gained some confidence back because they did take 2 of 3 from the Red Sox but perhaps more importantly, they started hitting the ball. They did put up 23 runs against Boston in 3 games so I believe that slump they were in has officially come to an end.<o></o>
However, even when they weren't hitting well, they were getting good pitching. Something they should once again get tonight. Silva has a a 2.45 ERA over his last 3 starts and over his last 5 starts, he has pitched at least 7 innings in each one and did not allow more than 2 earned runs per start. He has also been a better pitcher on the road as he sports a 2.60 road ERA.<o></o>
Meche has a 7.36 ERA over his last 3 starts and his team is 0-3 in those games. Look for Minnesota to continue hitting the ball and look for the Twins to score an easy win on the road.<o></o>
