Did anyone see that first baseman just now let a ball go between the legs so the tying run could score??

This guy at first is right up there with Dave Kingman in the fielding department.

Millar in right had Mench dead at first after he hit a single. (Mench fell down in the batters box.) Petagine doesn't bother to get to the bag to receive a throw. Horrible.

Thats Roberto Petagine who has played mostly in Japan over the last 5 or 6 years. He has a good bat, and could end up as a sleeper hero in Beantown before the season is over. Granted he looks rough in the field so far.
