Reason: We'll give the Devil Rays the edge on the mound and at the plate on Tuesday night, giving them excellent underdog value.
Scott Kazmir will take the hill for the Devil Rays. Tampa Bay has now won each of his last four starts, including three in which he has allowed two earned runs or less. In his last start against the Orioles, Kazmir held them to just one earned run over seven innings in a 3-2 victory.
The wheels have fallen off for O's starter Erik Bedard. He has dropped each of his last three starts, allowing 13 earned runs in 15 1/3 innings over that stretch. Baltimore is just 3-4 in his seven home starts this season. With the team really slumping right now, I don't see them giving Bedard enough for the win on Tuesday.
There's no way we can turn down this value with the hotter team. Tampa Bay gives us a solid payday. Take Tampa Bay.+
