That's pretty typical for Prior. He often develops the curve later. That's why his biggest troubles usually comes in the first 2 innings. 1 run in the first 2 isn't too bad. Check out his stats in his first 45 pitches vs. the next 45. Staggering.

Those seats do not count towards Wrigley attendence. However, the Cubs do take a 17% cut from those ticket sales.

That has to be the "Swami" statement of the week. Prior gives up a double at pitchcount 40-43 and then strikes out Griffey and Dunn from 44-51.

Time for the Cubs to play small ball! They are the worst bunch of clutch hitters I have ever seen. This 6 game losing streak is brutal.

1st inning-1st and 2nd no outs and they cant get a run in
3rd inning-2nd and no outs and they cant get the run in

He is a complete idiot. First of all, take the damn 6" wristbands off as you are not playing. Today, they had their first lead in a week. I find it hard to believe there are many teams in MLB history which didn't have any lead for a whole week. He has no idea how to manage a bullpen. He has to get fired.

True...at first I thought I'd say I'd take him over Charlie in Charge...but now I think Manuel deserves some respect. Even if he has no idea what to do more than 2 batters ahead in the lineup. :103631605
