He's probably the most overrated and overhyped QB in the country. His passing skills are decent and he's a decent athlete, but nowhere near a Vick or even a Kordell Stewart. He had one little stretch a few years where he was getting Heisman attention for some reason, but he's really nothing special.

not sure if he is overrated or poorly managed. He should be a heck of alot better by now if he was coached properly. THey are supposedly making the offense more smith friendly this year so we should see what kind of game he really has.
