Heres the e-mail:

For the last 6 years I have given out my plays free of charge. I have won every season, and made over 120K for the $100 a unit player in the last three years. I have donated a considerable amount of money every year to local charities and the B and G Club of America. This year I will request $100 to $300 (whatever you can afford) for the entire season. I have never asked for a cent and the only reason I am now is because of a serious need for two programs that I want to keep running at the local facility for youths.

I know many of you have made thousands off of my plays over the last few seasons and I'm thankful for that. This year I simply would like to raise as much as I can the best way I know how.. I spend 30-40 hours a week going over match-ups and trends and give all of my insight on every selection.. I know I will prosper again this CFB / NFL season. I apologize to anyone that only wants these plays for free.. All I can say is for $100 you will not be unsatisified.. I will make that a thousand times over by the time the bowls roll around...

this is the only place I will be posting plays this season.. no forums....

If you are interested in my plays you can send funds one of three ways standard mail / paypal / epassporte... Let me know what you think..

Whoah. Didn't see that one coming...but it seems like it's for a good cause, and the guy does make people a shitload of money.

You gotta be kidding me

I have to say I will keep visiting the RX...because every day the situations here get better and better

lol

Ask him if it's ok that you contact his local B&G club and make the deposit directly to them in his name.....

Let's see if he is ok with that...since that is the only reason he is asking for it

His heart seems to be in the right place. Can't wait to see how much interest there is on this.

If it is for charity, and I can donate in his name to his local B&G club I will double his request....

I don't see this being a problem since he is just trying to charge to raise money for the B&G club....I hope he responds here so that I can do that for him

Bear has never been one to sell his picks...but I have a feeling this thread will end up in the RR with all the anti-Kodiak posters there are in the area.

Good luck Bear...I hope you're serious about the proceeds going to the youth programs!

why cant he just say that he wants money for the work that he is doing, instead of using the charity angle? he is also very clever in the way he phrases his implied link between the money you would pay and the amount if any that would go to the b&g club.

I haven't been here long enough to know the poster or his plays, but I think we should respect his post. In other words, don't start replying in negative or insulting replies.

Thanks and I hope I don't offend anyone.

For those posters that have made thousands and thousands of dollars on his picks I think a $300 donation to his local B & G club would be nice. Make the donation direct.

im in in in. where is the charity address?

but wait wait wait.

His plays will show up on the forums soon after he posts them as a person will share those picks with all. Like all the other tout services.

so it will be free to most everyone.

if i were to recieve such an email, i would respond as follows:

dear kodiak, rather than give you $100 - $300, can i just send you my $300 cancelled check payable to the boys and girls foundation & still recieve those guaranteed winners? this way i can get the tax break, your favorite charity gets a donation and i can enjoy risk-free gambling by playing the great kodiak's locks of the week. its a win/win/win...unless, of course, you lose your ass like every other poster who has gone tout or, you start bad then chase and get completely buried like you did a couple years back in the baseball challenge. remember that? you lost over $1 million in "units".

what a joke.

Chuck,

I feel the same way as I posted above

I think it's a great idea and just donate direct IN HIS NAME....That way you can cut out the middle man and both he and yourself are happy for a GREAT cause!

LMFAO

you've got to be kidding????

I'm sure his crackhead chalk-loving 'brother' Ballbreaker will be in here any second now defending this.

This is one of the funniest threads I've seen in here in a while, thanks!

also: Kody has given many insights into his Michigan/Michigan State plays weekly, hasn't he??? that was his best attribute

Does that mean he has made 1,120,000 since then? After all if you followed his plays you're up 120k??

I really have no opinion on this as I know little of the man or his plays...

I always appreciated Kodiak7's MAC knowledge and picks, he seemed to do quite well in the MAC.

However, I'm not so sure the guy won more units than he lost. I can't say I tracked his picks over the season and kept track of units, but there were several weeks where I did check up on his picks and he didn't do any better than anyone else in here. I also remember the dude played so damn many games he sure decreased his odds of doing better than .500.

all i know is he lost $1 million in a baseball challenge a couple year's back. if he really bet those units (which, come on...who loses $1 million gambling) then i find it very hard to believe that he made it back.

i dont follow this bozo's football picks and have no idea if he is up or down over the past couple years. however, anyone who asks for money for picks is a scammer....period.
