Might as well give it a try since I see everyone using it. Maybe it'll give them some juice in the bats.

Go Brewers!

typical stlouis game they manufacture a run in the first and the brewers are not gonna score today cards can beat you 10-9 or 1-0 which ever way you wanna play. i have the brewers here but dont have that feeling now.

I can't believe they're gonna let Sheets hit for himself here... this might be the last chance you get at scoring...

horrible coaching move IMO... I don't care how well your starter's been throwing, you absolutely have to get the runner home from 3rd in a 1-0 game in the 7th inning... Ned Yost, I love ya dude, but c'mon now...

had they taken sheets out stlouis would most definitley score against the bullpen probably what i dont understand is why in the hell not let sheets swing away where he may get lucky and get a hit instead of giving them a out. teams refuse to beat the cardinals.

Because Sheets was 0 fer 35 on the season before that...

I don't care how many runs your bullpen gives up, if you're stuck on 0, you're not winning games.

i dont care if sheets was 0-1000 let him swing in that spot hell he has not struck out all 35 times when you put the ball in play anything can happen.

Yes, but when you've got guys hitting even .200 on the bench... someone with the potential to at least hit a fly ball to the outfield... I think this ranks up there with those bonehead managerial decisions that Bucsfan started maybe a month ago... I don't care if you've got Bob Gibson on the mound (in this age of baseball)... if the guy is batting exactly .000 for the season in the 7th inning with men on 1st and 3rd you HAVE to pinch hit for him no matter how bad your bullpen is, especially when the score is 1-0 and you might not get another chance... if the Brew Crew go 1-2-3 in the 8th, they're done with the bottom of the order against Izzy in the 9th.

Way to go Ned... my bullpen could've given up 2 runs against 7-8-9 in the Cards lineup too... totally blew any chance of winning this game.
