I look at the "worth" or expected value of the contest. The current HW one takes no time and is worth several hundred $. The Skybook ones I once figured at being worth $5-10 for a brief post, and so on. If it's free or has an overlay it's usually worth the time to enter. I haven't seen many here not worth entering !
I don't play in them all but do enjoy the ones I enter. I was bummed finishing 7th in the last man standing baseball contest but the 2 contestants left certainly earned the right to fight it out.
I like the contests where your sponsors chip in so I'll probably pass on the pick four Football this year, I'd rather not embarrass myself again anyway.

I made the second round of the King of the Hill contest & then got Dq'd because I forgot to post enough plays throughout the month
Im trying to have better disicpline though, there is money to be made, as I was lucky enough to find out in the WWTS contest....
When the funds are yours to play with, like the WWTS contest, essentially a free entry, seems silly not to play.
