Inital thought would be that the Cubs suck...

Now watch this game be the one where they show up after all their losing...

I saw this line and couldn't believe it was so low. Cubs just got swept by the Reds and now one of the hottest NL Road teams ( I believe they've won 8 in a row) is coming to town.

Also the fact that CHC are 4-13 in Game 1 after a loss. But who knows. Cubs won 2 of 3 in STL earlier. So you know STL wants revenge.

It's either STL or no play for me. :103631605

Cubs seem to have no motivation lately and can't score runs on very mediocre pitching. Maddux pitched well last weekend against the mets but has been hit pretty hard alot this year. Cards are red hot and simply a very good ballclub right now. Gotta like them tommorrow.

I was hoping St. Louis would be over priced in this matchup and I was going to take some shots on the Cubs since I have made a small fortune fading them for over a month. But this price is not high enough for me to venture to the darkside and put my money on the Cubs. I'll lay off this one.

Now Up To -135...what Are Ya Waiting For ???? Lol

If you're hot to pound the cards, check the wind in the morning and look at the Cards price on the run line of -1 or -1 1/2.

I'm checking the lineup first to make sure no one is sitting this one out too, but first glance, i like the cards and plus i have the fade the cubs bet going the rest of the year :howdy:

A little more to nudge me in the Cards direction...

“At this point the Cardinals are no different than any other team,” Cubs second baseman Todd Walker told the Chicago Sun-Times. “If we were two games behind them, that would make a difference. Now it doesn't matter if it's the Mets, Cardinals or whoever,” Walker said.

Way to be motivated guys.

What scared me off from taking the Cubs is Madux has a poor record in day games I believe.........
