A lot of it is Garland for me, plus going agaist Wakefield who is either really good or really bad usually. W-sox won this same matchup earlier this year (July 22).
I do like the A's, as Saarloos is better than most give him credit for (A's are my hometown guys BTW. I know them and the Giants really well). An A's play might be in order for me, but I'm also gonna go against the numbers and grab some under 9 1/2. Mays may have a horrid ERA his last 4 games (over 8!), but it's still the A's and Minny and 9 1/2 looks like too much.
No opinion on Angels. I think they are struggling a bit and I wouldn't lay a big price on them. I could see them losing today.
I tread very lightly in late August/early Sept baseball, so that's probably my entire card for the day.
