Take the Rocket out after 8 innings. Let's see he struck out 9 and had only thrown 88 F'N pitches. Bring in that loser closer of yours who proceeds to throw an 0-2 fastball to HR king J Wilson.

I will admit Lidge gets the job done 90% of the time-but I want Roger in there. he dominated that lineup up and he had to come out for the 9th. The pitchers spot was first-so I go with him for the 9th and Lidge for the 10th if needed.
But only 88 pitches 63 strikes 25 balls

Didn't understand that move either. Clemens only threw 88 pitches?

Anyway, Astros can only blame themselves. Shouldn't have been 0-0 in the 9th. Houston had several good scoring chances.

Clemens went to Garner after the 8th and told him he was done. He has a bad back and the medicine hes on is supposedly screwing him up. Got this info from reading the ESPN summary of the game.

The point here is that Houston couldnt score a run off of Kip Wells which in itself is a joke.
