If a game is 'called', or suspended, winners and losers for betting are official after at least 5 full innings of play unless the home team is leading after 4½ innings. If a game is 'called', or suspended etc, the winner is determined by the score after the last full inning (unless the home team scores to tie, or takes the lead in the bottom half of the inning, in which case the winner is determined by the score at the time the game is called).

If it were to have rained the rest of the day, the 5th inning would not have counted and therefore would not be an official game. You revert back to the last completed inning. If they would've made the third out, yanks would've won 7-3.
Another example....
Visiting team is leading 4-3 after 7 innings. Home team scores 10 in the bottom of 8th but there is only one out...starts pouring down rain, game gets called, reverts back to 7th and visiting team gets the win.
