USUALLY - yes. Here we have San Diego (or close to it) against Tracy which is in BFE (about halfway between SJ and Suckramento). I was actually in Tracy about 6 weeks ago (going from SJ to Suck) and i find it hard to believe a team from there can win this game. as for +/- 5 that is another story but when teams get to this point i would tend to TAKE +5 but this is not knowing anything about either team. but my lean would be that way

tracy is near stockton, which is somewhat of a baseball hotbed.

anything can happen in these games...i can't imagine anyone laying the chalk...could you imagine sweating that one out?

So. Cal threw what appeared to be their ace in the semi. He is clealy the best arm by grazing boxscores. Copeland I would imagine would be twirling tonight for them. He faced No. cal in bracket play and gave up two runs but they were able to hit him. 8 base hits and just six strikeouts against him in six innings. No cal. has the two guys that started the two first bracket games available this evening, one of which pitched most of the first game between the teams when they got beat 5-2. The guy that pitched their opener is also available(moses, i believe). The value seems to lie with taking the 5 runs.

I don't believe I've ever seen +950 on one side and -1950 on the other.

Great ballgame going. Need to get through one more inning with 4 runs or less!! I get the feeling So. Cal is way better, just hope the explosion waits one more inning.
