Some plays I like for Monday

Mil/Col under 10.5 -102
Sheets/Cook
Colorado has not been able to get men across the plate much in the last series. Sheets for Mil is pitching lights out. I can't imagine Mil will hit that many more.

Min/CWS under 9 -101
Lohse/Contreras
Both teams have been going under (except for CWS in Boston). Both pitchers have been going under.

Oak -1.5 +110 over Bal
Lopez/Zito
Oak has won 8 of their last 9 games by more than 1 run when Zito starts. The only exception was by 1 run against the Angels.

very nice! I'm all over Col Under and Zito -1.5 as well. The other one I can't make my mind up on. I think I'm probably going to pull the trigger on Sheets at -1.5 as well. Thanks for the picks!! Lets win!

Just a note on the White sox game. Neither Contreras or Loshe has pitched great over their past 3. Loshe is 7-3 lifetime vs. CWS, but 0-2 this season, those two starts were his first and third of the season where he gave up 5 and 4. Contreras gave up 3, 2 earned, over 4.2 in his only start this season vs. Min.

Thanks for the heads-up bombay24. When you say that neither Contreras or Lohse has done great over their past 3, do you mean when pitching against these teams? The reason I ask is because Lohse has only given up 3, 2 and 1 earned runs in his last 3 games (even though they lost all 3) and Contreras hasn't given up an earned run in his last 2 starts (he did give up 6 ERs the game before those 2).

I really like the way Sheets has been pitching. He hasn't given up more than 3 earned runs in his last 9 starts. I may have to take him on the ML at -157. Thanks for bringing that to my attention.

You are right indeed, I was looking at the stats todays game between Bos and CWS (Clement and El Duque) when I checked those stats out. The play is looking somewhat promising to me now! BTW, I havent been around for a while, or not posting anyways. i think I used to follow some of your soccer or tennis plays. Did you used to post in those two sports?

Yes, soccer. I was up something like 15-20 units and kind of leveled off from there.

I thought it was you. Do you still make any plays? I love doing soccer plays. I enjoy it, but i dont have enough insight to analyze the games myself when it comes to soccer. I enjoy a thorough analysis of a soccer matchup. What are your thoughts on Sheets at -1.5 tomorrow?

I usually like to wait until the season gets started. Too much uncertainty early on.

I'm going to get some sleep before making a decision on Sheets.

Sounds good! I will be looking forward to those soccer plays. I hope you jump on sheets w/ me. I'm on Zito and Sheets at -1.5, Col/Mil Under, and KC +1.5 for tomorrow (I know, KC, but I think it will work out w/ Hernandez their most solid starter this yr. going on 2 days extra rest)

Guys A Little Reminder

on CWS & Mn, both are banged up. Podsednik who is the catalyst for their O is out, and Mn is w/o Castro, Jones & Hunter. I think runs will be hard to come by and 9 seems a tad hi, just my opinion.

Thanks for the feedback silver7. Both teams have been consistently under-performing. This may look like a series to watch for the under.

Well the Twins/CWS game went under but the Mil/Col game went over. Sheets got hit. First time he gave up so much in his last 9 games. Oh well.

A's are leading by 1 so far.
