I dont have the guts to play these games because they are dogs for a reason, but I see a bit of value in the toronto and KC games. I wont play Toronto at LA just because LA scares me regardless of whether I see value or not, but I'm thinking of playing KC and the +1.5 line. I think King Felix has to stumble eventually and may lose some focus playing against the lackluster royals. Plus, the royals cant keep losing as much as they have, but I'm not going to be the one to double down on them until they do. On the other two, Harang has been very solid throughout his career vs. SF and is a much better pitcher at home. His last 3 starts have also been very solid whereas Correia has been lackluster over his last 3. The other game is pretty simple to me. The yankees are the yankees and the D-rays are the D-rays. It will be a few yrs before I bet against the yanks vs. the rays. Interesting plays. Good luck on the plays.

I can see these games hitting, but KC, TB, and SF suck.. Like you said, the Royals cannot keep losing, they just can't. lol. Also, I think they will find their opportunities against a 19 year old Rookie.. Toronto's Chacin is bad ass, and the Bluejays are a good team (I think) so I see alot value there. Tampa Bay just got done sweeping Cleveland in Cleveland, and are now coming home. Wright is pitching for the Yankees, and his ERA is over 9.. He also has to deal with just coming off the shoulder injury. SF has the least value I believe.. The only thing I like about the SF/Cincy game is they both suck, so I guess take the +170. lol. Best of luck

Well, my reasons for saying there is a little value in KC and Toronto run a bit deeper. R. Hernandez goes for KC tomorrow whom has been their most solid pitcher all season long, although he has been awful in August! He threw 6 innings of shutout ball against Seattle in his last start against seattle on 7/6 as well. There were also be a lot of hype around Felix start and Hernandez has the mentality where he loves to pitch in situations like this. He also is pitching on 2 extra days rest because he was supposed to pitch Sat. game that was rained out. I'm not saying the royals of all people are the ones that are going to touch Felix up, and in fact it wouldnt surprise me to see him pitch with an ERA under 4 for the rest of the season, he isnt the most highly touted prospect in baseball for nothing. I think there is value here, although I like the +1.5 line better than the ML.

My reasons for liking Toronto as the same as yours. I think Chacin matches up well against Santana and he shutout the angels for 8 innings last month in an 8-0 Jays win. However, I dont think I'm going to play this game based on gut feeling alone and the fact that I love Vlad!

I dont like the Yankees game because the Yankees have a sense of urgency right now. They know they cant afford to lose ground. Wrights ERA is based on 4 starts early in the season most of which he was pitching through pain, so those should be thrown completely out the window. He also pitched well in his last 2 rehab starts. One thing you do have on your side is the fact that Fossum has pitched very well against the Yankees and the Rays have absolutely kicked the Yanks arses thus far this yr., but do you really think that can continue? I just dont like this one because of what I said before, Its the Yankees and the Rays!!

The Reds and SF game is the one that I think you are missing by a mile. The reds have won 5 of their last 6 and Harang is by far the better pitcher in this matchup. He's pitched well against the Giants in the past and pitches must better at home than away. I see no value in this play whatsoever.

Dr. Bombay. You and I are on the same wavelength tonight. I was looking at Chacin as well. The problem I have is the rest of the team. I also like Vlad.

Your thoughts re. TB/NYY pretty much mirror mine. In my case tho it maybe my imagination, it seems that over the last few yrs EVERY time I load up on the Bombers, TB plays out of their mind and kicks ass! Also I sort of like the J`s but LAA has been SO good to me lately I find it hard to pull that trigger. And how the hell can you bet KC w/the worst rd. rec. in the AL in this spot? I don`t know I guess if I HAD to bet one of them it would be the D Rays just because I`m so snake bit w/them. Pretty lousy reason no? Best of luck.
