Where will the Offshore Industry Be in 10 Years?

As I can't sleep I decided I'd pose a question I was thinking about. Basically, I wonder what offshore will look like in a decade. There are plenty of ways to look at the question: what books will be strong/more reduced juice/less; more government oversight/legalization dare I say; more of a market style exchange....honestly I defer to the minds on here who have an actual working knowledge of the business rather than a recreational player---just thought it'd be an FYI for rest of us

I don't think anyone knows

mostly has to do with any legislation (positive or negative) that occurs in the US

while the Euro books are somewhat insulated from that, the impact of US bettors on the industry is huge

Ditto what DG just stated and adding that the influx of Asian players is going to play a much bigger role in the years to come.
