sans serif] 2004 Ranking: 109 2003 Ranking: 105
Program Analysis:
The whopping 8.4 Graduation Score comes from the entire student body since the service academies don't release rates for the teams. Even so, Army continues to sink like a stone thanks to the mere three D-I wins over the last three years and only one from 2002 to 2003. There's nowhere to go but up for Bobby Ross and the Black Knights with 4.5 of the Bad Loss score coming off next year's Rankings.

113[font=verdana, arial,

Program Analysis: The attendance has improved in each of the last three years, 2004 was a 5-6 season, and the 2-9 2001 season isn't in the mix any more. However, two of last year's wins came against Florida International and Florida Atlantic, which are considered non-D-I wins for these Rankings. Worse yet, the Bad Loss score isn't going to get much better with 8.5 of the 10 points coming from the last two years.

sans serif] 2004 Ranking: 117 2003 Ranking: 116
Program Analysis:
Buffalo stays on the bottom for yet another year with only four wins over D-I teams over the past three years, a horrible Conference Winning %, and a rough Attendance Score all contributing to the problem. However, there are signs of improvement. Step one to getting better is beating the teams you're supposed to, and UB got better last year beating UCF and Central Michigan. With the best defense yet in the Jim Hofher era, expect someone else on the bottom next year.

FAU was 9-3 last year, including beating Hawaii on the road. They lost A LOT of players though. They will be bad, but a big part of that is because they have a lot of non-conference games in which they have no chance.

Because they recruit from the same area as Miami and ex-cane coach Howard Schnellenberger is there, I would not bet against FAU surprising some people this year. They are not going to be good, but I would not put them among the worst.

I think you mean Florida International

Both new Fla schools are in the sunbelt this year.

I believe you're thinking of Florida A&M or Florida Int'l instead of Florida Atlantic.

Florida A&M Rattlers
3-8 (0-0), 9th Mid-Eastern Athletic

Or

Florida Intl. Golden Panthers
3-7 (0-0), 2nd Sun Belt

Buffalo is bad...but they should show some improvement. I don't know if they earned that 117.

Temple could make a bid for the bottom of the rankings next year losing three wins from 2002 and with a brutal schedule this year. Buffalo should be somewhat improved this season. They will not be the worst team in CFB this season.

I already have eyes on Buffalo. I think they can cover the number with UConn losing Orlovsky (best QB at UConn in a long time gone).

I will probably go light but I will get my feet wet on this game. :103631605

I believe Army has a new coach so perhaps they won't suck as much.

Nothing wrong with Army's coach...Bobby Ross, ex-Lions and Chargers coach, and somewhere in the south with a college team. Army's problem is no players, they were 2-9 last year...expect more or less the same this year.
