Had a little r & r this weekend.....took in a couple of Sox games,annual horseshoe tourney....not alot of time for bases.Today,I do see one game I like not much else...Under 9 (-115) CWS/MIN.
Where to start here....how about the combined O/U for these two starters is 30-8 Under.Lohse has got no run support for weeks (Twins have only scored more than 2 runs once in his L6 starts) but he has continually pitched well.Hes 0-3 but has an era of 2.84 in his L3 starts.Contraras who is IMO the weak link in the Chigago rotation has also pitched well recently going 3-0 w/ 3.00 era L3.Neither team can claim theyre hitting well with MIN at a .231 BA in the L10 games and Chicago coming in at a lowly .226 in their L10.Both teams BP are solid and have what it takes to finish things off.Not to mention the injuries (Jones,Hunter,Posednik) and some meaningful trends:
Under is:
3-1-1 L5 meetings
11-4 L15 Minny road games
8-2 L10 CWS home games
I dont see that this line has been adjusted in anyway for tonights game in comparison to other recent starts/matchups,even given the factors above.
Im going take the CWS -155 also for 1 U.
